Second network conference in Speyer
RE-ALIS
On 15 May 2025, the second network conference of our mentoring programme ‘Quality Based German Classes’ took place in Speyer. The event is funded by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
The focus was on the importance of sound language preparation for international nursing staff in order to ensure successful integration.
From the outset, we have relied on close coordination with our language schools in the countries of origin and hospitals in Germany. RE-ALIS coordinates the entire process, from the selection of applicants to structured language training and entry into the country. Transparency, reliability and continuous support are at the heart of what we do. The fact that representatives of our partner schools from Albania, Kosovo, Tunisia and India travelled to the conference in person and that several representatives of our partner hospitals were also present underlines our shared understanding of quality. The conference provided all participants with an opportunity for direct exchange, mutual understanding and close coordination between language preparation and the practical requirements of everyday hospital life.
We are continuously developing this network in collaboration with VFBB e.V. Speyer. The support provided by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees and the Federal Employment Agency underscores the importance of this approach.
A special moment was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with several of our partner schools. It is a visible sign of the cooperation within our network and our shared understanding of quality, transparency and responsible recruitment of skilled workers.
