Co-funded by the European Union: Mentoring Program for Quality-Based German Classes

RE-ALIS

A new step for RE-ALIS. In cooperation with VFBB e.V., we are launching the EU co-funded Mentoring Program for Quality-Based German Classes, which aims to standardize the quality of language training for nursing professionals at our four partner language schools. The project is co-funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. The goal is to strengthen pre-integration in the countries of origin by placing a stronger focus on professional context within language training and enabling a smooth transition into professional practice in Germany.

A key element of the project is the Teacher-Mentoring System, an IT-supported tool that accompanies teachers at the language schools and ensures quality standards, practical teaching, and continuous evaluation.

An annual network meeting in Germany is another central component of the program. Representatives and especially teachers from partner language schools, VFBB e.V., RE-ALIS, German institutions, and other project partners come together to share experiences, align approaches, and further develop pre-integration in practice.

VFBB e.V. contributes many years of experience to this project. Implementing a structured network project over several years reflects this approach and highlights the importance of coordinated processes. The central question remains how pre-integration can be designed so that both patient care and collaboration in everyday work function effectively. We look forward to the upcoming years of partnership.
